‘Padachone Ingalu Katholi’ teaser: Grace Antony steals the show!

Makers of ‘Padachone Ingalu Katholi’ launched the teaser on Saturday (Oct 29). The teaser features the lead actors Sreenath Bhasi and Grace Antony, in a polling booth. Grace Antony impersonates several times and casts fake votes. The teaser also suggests that a candidate won by just 13 votes. Grace Antony shines through the teaser, through her many avatars and comic timing. Voting malpractice, including personation, is a penal offense, and the teaser hints that the makers are aiming to take a dig at the electoral fraud in our nation.
Grace Antony shared the teaser via her social media handle and also shared that the film will be hitting the cinemas soon. “@padachoneingalukatholee releasing soon🤩.”

Featuring Sreenath Bhasi, Grace Antony, and Ann Sheetal in the lead roles, ‘Padachone Ingalu Katholi’ is helmed by Bijith Bala. The upcoming film is touted to be a satire. Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, the director said, “The story is set in Kannur and is a satire that has Sreenath’s character at the centre. That said, everyone else too has prominent roles in it and the story is the real hero of the film. We are presenting it as a village-based story, featuring common-men characters. He is a school teacher, employed at a local educational institution. He got the job in the management quota and is a temporary employee, so he has been working without a salary for a long time without it. The film shows his efforts to improve his job situation and the various incidents around it.”

Actors Rajesh Madhavan, Hareesh Kanaran, Vigilesh, Dinesh Prabhakar, Nirmal Palazhi, Alencier, Johnny Antony, Mamukkoya, Shiny Sarah, Sunil Sukhada, Ranji Kankol, Rasna Pavithran, Sarasa Balussery, Ranjith Manambrakkat, Nathaniel Mathil, Nisha Mathew, Unni Raja, and Mridula will be seen in supporting roles in the film.
