‘Oru Thekkan Thallu Case’ trailer: Love stories and lots of action!

‘Oru Thekkan Thallu Case’ directed by Sreejith N, based on GR Indugopan's story ‘Ammini Pilla Vettu Case’ is heading to the cinemas on Onam (Sep 8), and the makers have launched a trailer ahead of it. The trailer features Biju Menon, Padmapriya, Roshan Mathew, and Nimisha Sajayan, who are playing the lead character. Set in the 1980s, the trailer features Biju Menon as Amminipilla, who is married to Rukmini (Padmapriya).From their romance to Biju Menon’s high-octane action sequences, the trailer looks intriguing.

Helmed by Sreejith N, ‘Oru Thekkan Thallu Case’ is gearing up for release.
Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, Padmapriya spoke about why she chose the film, “I found the script, adapted from a short story, very intriguing. The story has elements of love, magic, action, drama, which is all very heartwarming and will make audiences come to the cinema. It is based in a small village in the 1980s. My character is Rukmini and married to Biju Menon’s Amminipilla. Her entire life revolves around him, and she is a gutsy, boisterous woman. She reminds me of the women in the 80s, like my grandmother, who may be housewives, but were very assertive."

She further added, "What is also special about the film is the female friendship between Rukmini and her neighbour, Vasanti (played by Nimisha Sajayan). It is unlike any that I have seen on the Indian screen. It is a very special relationship; there is extreme care and concern for each other which drives the plot of the film.”
