As the movie focuses on percussion artists and their journey, the director has reportedly chosen real-life artists to essay the roles. For the Thayambaka, a type of solo chenda performance, the director chose to cast two veteran artists, who have proficiency in the same. Artists like
Kalpathy Balakrishnan
, Porur Unnikrishnan, Panamanna Sasi,
Tripunithura Krishnadas
, and Sadanam Vasudevan will also be seen handling some pivotal roles.
Helmed by Dr Sathyanarayananunni, the movie is bankrolled by KT Ajayan and KT Ramakrishnan. Sajan Antony has cranked the lens. Saroja Unnikrishnan handles the music in which Jassie Gift will be crooning a song. The movie will hit the theatres tomorrow.
