Omar Lulu’s announces his next ‘Nalla Samayam’

Omar Lulu, who has previously directed films like ‘Oru Adaar Love’ and ‘Dhamaka’ has announced his next titled ‘Nalla Samayam’. The makers launched the film on Tuesday (June 14) by recording a song. Instead of kickstarting the project with a puja ceremony, the makers recorded the first song in a studio in Kochi, with singer Abhaya Hiranmayi.
Omar Lulu took to his social media and confirmed the same, sharing a picture from the recording studio.
According to the reports, the film is a fun thriller, that revolves around the incidents happening in one night. Omar Lulu will also be introducing four fresh talents as the lead actors for the film. The movie will go on floors on June 27, and will be majorly filmed in Guruvayoor and Thrissur. Sinu Sidharth is wielding the camera for the film.
Meanwhile, Omar Lulu’s next ‘Power Star’ featuring Babu Antony in the lead role is heading to its final stages of post-production. The film also marks celebrated scenarist late Dennis Joseph’s last screenplay.

“I grew up watching Dennis sir’s films. I remember watching ‘Manu Uncle’. And then there were his big blockbusters like ‘Rajavinte Makan’, and ‘New Delhi’. I haven’t done a mass entertainer yet and it was my biggest dream to embark on my journey with the genre through him. Pramod Pappan (filmmaker) chettan helped me to approach Dennis sir. They have worked together in ‘Thaskaraveeran’ and ‘Vajram’. So, while meeting Dennis sir, I shared a couple of my ideas, but he wasn’t positive about whether it would work with actor Babu Antony. And one day a piece of news related to drugs came in and we decided to develop a story around it. Dennis sir was very much excited and that’s how we began scripting for ‘Power Star’,” Omar Lulu earlier told ETimes.
