It was a paid holiday for actor Badri Nath while he was shooting for Mamas Cinema Company. Apart from the on-screen chemistry that worked between the four of us, our bond outside the sets helped a lot, recalls Badri. The actors luck struck its chord on his career while he was assisting Kalavoor Ravikumar in
Fathers Day. I left
Fathers Day half way through for
Cinema Company.
However, I was asked to attend the workshop and grooming session. That was a tough competition, since there were other freshers and the roles were assigned according to ones performance. And, finally, I grabbed the role of Fasil Rahman, a reserved, silent and aspiring writer, says the young actor.
Also, Badri was taken in for a surprise when Mamas was impressed with his gangster looks. Long hair and big moustache gave me a gangster look. Though the crew had speculations about my looks for the role, Mamas was impressed. However, I had to chop off my hair and shear my moustache to suit the role of the silent character.
