himself posted this on social media, with the caption: Enroute to banaras to Capture odiyan manickam's life in camera . Need prayers and blessings.
Earlier, Shrikumar Menon had posted a picture of himself with
Peter Hein at Banaras, with the words, ''Third day of location recce at banaras. Today Peter hein also joined.'' Apparently, the character Odiyan Manickan was in Banaras for 15 years before he returned to Thenkurissi.
Odiyan is the story of the now extinct Odiyan tribe who used to specialise in black magic. Manju Warrier is also playing an important character in the film, as part of the tribe, while Mohanlal plays the lead role.
