Nyla Usha on ‘Priyan Ottathilaanu’: Super excited to be part of this film

Nyla Usha has signed on to play one of the leads in ‘

Priyan Ottathilaanu

’, helmed by Antony Sony Sebastian of ‘C/O Saira Banu’ fame. Sharafudheen and Nyla Usha are playing the lead characters and the first look poster was launched by Nivin Pauly recently.

“Super excited to be part of this film, special to me in many ways,” Nyla Usha said in her Instagram post. The actress expressed her excitement to join the team.

‘Priyan Ottathilaanu’ is a family entertainer and the director shared that Sharafudheen is playing the role of Priyan, a homeo doctor. Priyan is a busy bee and the director shared that Priyan is a family man, everyone could relate to.

Actors Aparna Das, Biju Sopanam, Jaffer Idukki, Harisree Ashokan, veteran actor Ashokan, Sphadikam George, and ‘Thamasha’ fame Uma K P have roped in to play some pivotal characters in the film.

Abhayakumar K and Anil Kurian have jointly crafted the story, screenplay, and dialogues. Santhosh Thrivikraman is bankrolling the project, under the banner WOW Cinemasn.

On the technical side, PM Unnikrishnan has roped in as the cinematographer and Joel Kavi is the editor. Lijin Bambino is composing the music for ‘Priyan Ottathilaanu’, while Gokul KR is the sound designer. Rajesh Velayudhan is the art director and award-winning costume designer Sameera Saneesh too has signed in for the film.

The team will kickstart the shoot by mid-March and Kochi is the primary location.
