Nivin Pauly - Rajeev Ravi’s magic ‘Thuramukham’ on screen as the theatrical release of the film has been postponed yet again. Recently the actor Nivin Pauly took to his official Instagram handle to announce the same. Nivin Pauly shared an Instagram post mentioning that the makers have decided to postpone the theatrical release of ‘Thuramukham’ due to the COVID spike and the rescheduled date will be announced later.

Sharing the Instagram post, actor Nivin Pauly penned a note that read, “Thuramukham is an attempt to address forgotten sacrifices and heroic struggles of a past generation, where a commitment to more significant causes was more important than the successes and failures of individuals.
The current times too, warrant actions for the larger cause. Considering the surge in Covid cases, we have decided to postpone the theatrical release of Thuramukham. Mask up, stay safe, and thank you for all your love”.
Fans were pretty devastated to hear the news as ‘Thuramukham’ was one of the highly anticipated movies coming from Nivin Pauly- Rajeev Ravi combo and the film, which was billed as a theatrical release, has already gone through a couple of reschedulings. Netizens have started speculating on the scope of an OTT release considering the surge in COVID cases along with a rise in Omicron cases.
The film ‘Thuramukham’ is touted as a period drama movie and the script is penned down by the writer Gopan Chidambaram, based on his father KN Chidambaram’s stage play of the same title. The film has a battalion of actors that include
Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George,
Indrajith Sukumaran, and Poornima Indrajith.
