Nivin Pauly’s ‘Thuramukham’ gets a release date

’ is all set to release on June 3rd. The news was announced by Nivin Pauly via his official Instagram handle.

Nivin Pauly took to his official Instagram handle and shared a new poster from the Rajeev Ravi’s directorial film and penned a quote from Martin Luther King that read, “All Labour that uplifts humanity has dignity.” The post was soon flooded with comments from fans who were all waiting to hear the rescheduled release date of the most awaited Rajeev Ravi film.

Helmed by the renowned filmmaker Rajeev Ravi, ‘Thuramukham’ is touted as a political drama that will also mark Nivin Pauly’s first collaboration with the ace ‘Kammatti Paadam’ director. With the film finally arriving at the theatres on June 3rd, the audience is really waiting to see Rajeev Ravi’s magic unveiled on big screens.

Previously, the film was slated to release in theatres in May 2022, but due to pandemic issues and other unknown reasons, ‘Thuramukham’s theatrical release was rescheduled to an indefinite time period.

‘Thuramukham’ is based on KM Chidambaram’s popular play of the same name that tells the story of the hardships of workers and their protests against the infamous ‘Chappa’ system which was prevailing in Mattancherry harbor in Kochi during the 1940s and 50s time period.

‘Thuramukham’ is also stacked with a stellar cast that includes the actors Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Arjun Ashokan, Sudev Nair, Poornima Indrajith, Nimisha Sajayan, Senthil Krishna, Darshana Rajendran, and Manikandan R Achari.
