Nivin Pauly expresses gratitude to fans for support during tough times; says,'It was the people who supported me'

Actor Nivin Pauly recently opened up about his challenging times and the unwavering support he received from his fans and well-wishers.

Speaking at the 'Gokulam Night' event in Nilambur, the star expressed deep gratitude for the people who stood by him during difficult periods. “When a problem arose, it was the people who supported me,” Nivin said, acknowledging their love and encouragement.


Reflecting on the large gathering, Nivin shared, "It’s been quite a while since I’ve spoken in front of such a large crowd. My home is in Aluva, where the Shivaratri Mahotsavam is celebrated. This festival, along with the bustling local shops, always brings back memories of home."

He also recalled the impact of the devastating 2018 floods, which had submerged his house. During renovations, Nivin chose to incorporate teak wood from Nilambur into his home, emphasizing his connection to the place. “The trees from Nilambur are now part of my home,” he said.

Addressing his absence from public events, Nivin admitted, "The challenges I faced recently are well known. After those issues, I distanced myself from public events. However, when Gopalan Chettan, who has always been a mentor and guide to me, reached out, I didn’t hesitate to come."

Nivin concluded with a message of hope and determination, saying, “This stage gives me the chance to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you. This year, I promise to come back with great films, and I trust that your support and love will remain unwavering."

On the work front, Nivin Pauly’s previous outing was in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s directorial ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ where he played the on-screen superstar character Nithin Molly.
