Nivin Pauly is keeping busy these days, spending more time in the Tamil film industry. However, that doesn't mean he is moving away from Mollywood, he says, as it gives him the option to do good films regardless of the language.
There has already been two announcements in the last two months that he will be part of Tamil films directed by
Prabhu Radhakrishnan and debutant Suryaa Balakumaran.
When prodded about the details, the actor says, 'Both the films are only in its initial stages. It's too soon to give any details on the genre of the movies.'
While his debut film in Tamil, Neram was a bilingual, the upcoming
Gautham Ramachandran directorial will be his first full-length Tamil movie. 'I finished a schedule in Thoothukudi but I will get a hands-on feeling on working in the industry only during this on-going schedule. Tamil as a language is not a problem for me but I am trying to bring a bit of change to suit the mannerisms of the character that I play,' he says.
Meanwhile, Nivin has to finish a few portions of Siddhartha Siva film. 'It's a movie set against a political background. We are yet to allot dates on when I would start working on the film again because of my commitments in Tamil,' he says.
