KPAC Lalitha left for her heavenly abode on Tuesday, February 22 due to age-related issues. Having played numerous memorable roles in several films ranging from comedy to serious drama, the veteran actress has made a special place in the hearts of the audience. Her demise has left the entire film industry in shock.

Niranjana Anoop who is also saddened by the veteran's demise.
“Lalithamma is a close friend of Ammamma (grandmom) and both of them share a lot of fond memories together. Lalithamma always visited my house in Kozhikode and had a strong bonding with Ammamma, " the actress opened up about the experiences she had with the departed actress.
Niranjana further opened up by saying that KPAC Lalitha was very fond of eating mangoes. She shared, “Lalithamma was very fond of eating mangoes. We had a very big Mango tree in our house in Kozhikode. Once she had come along with Ashamai (actress Revathi) to Kozhikode for the shoot of the film ‘Penpattanam’. During the break, Lalithamma had insisted Ashamai to visit our house. I still remember the image of her holding the tip of her saree under our Mango tree with the hope of getting some ripe mangoes”
The actress further said that KPAC Lalitha has deep knowledge in every kind of art form apart from acting. “She used to accompany me to dance programs and even gave me dancing tips”,
