'Neru’: Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s next project starts rolling

Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are collaborating again for the court drama film ‘Neru’, which has already started shooting. The movie will be the directorial debut of Jeethu’s wife, Santhi Mayadevi, who also wrote the script. The movie will feature Mohanlal as the protagonist, and it is expected to have similar suspenseful elements from Jeethu’s past films. But there's no new update about the much-awaited 'Drishyam 3' from the duo. They are also working on the upcoming thriller 'Ram' that is pegged as a massive action flick.

It seems like movie buffs have to wait a little bit longer for the official announcement of the suspense thriller ‘Drishyam 3, as the duo Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are teaming up next for the court drama film ‘Neru’. According to the latest updates, the Mohanlal starrer started rolling on the auspicious day of Chingam 1.

Mohanlal took to his official Twitter handle to share a few pictures from the pooja function of Jeethu Joseph’s directorial debut, "Neru." Sharing the pictures, the ‘Drishyam’ actor penned a note that read, "We begin the shoot for "Neru" today on the auspicious occasion of the 1st of Chingam.Sharing a few stills from the Pooja with you all! Your prayers and blessings are much appreciated. #Neru #JeethuJoseph @antonypbvr @aashirvadcine "

Helmed by the director Jeethu Joseph, ‘Neru’s announcement poster posits that the movie will be a court drama with the usual suspense element that the ‘Drishyam’ director has mastered. The script of the film is penned by the actor Santhi Mayadevi, who played an advocate character in ‘Drishyam 2.
On the other hand, audiences are eagerly waiting for an update from Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal’s ‘Ram, which is touted to be a complete action flick and is mounted on a large scale.
