My mom is a huge admirer of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kumar and I used to watch their films as a child. His demise is undeniably the end of an era, but his legacy will live on. People will still remember him through his work,” Neha Saxena said exclusively to ETimes.
“An actor’s life is very beautiful. Cinema is an addiction. Even if Dilip sir is gone, he will live within us forever, through the characters he has portrayed. I can’t really pick a particular film of him. I love them all. Dilip Kumar saab brought a new phase to Indian cinema. I wonder how he got so involved with the characters he played. I have only seen him in films, but I have always felt him so royal and regal. When he speaks, it feels like someone of high stature is talking. The king is talking, and you just want to hear it!” she added.
Neha Saxena also expressed that Dilip Kumar’s demise is an ‘unfortunate loss’, “A few days ago, we heard about his health improving, and waking up to the news of his demise is upsetting.”
“As actors, we all look up to these legendary figures. And there’s a lot we all can learn from Dilip saab's life on and off-screen,” Neha Saxena signed off.
