Neeye Nenjil: First song from Unni Mukundan-Aparna Balamurali’s ‘Mindiyum Paranjum’ out!

Unni Mukundan and Aparna Balamurali are teaming up for an upcoming romantic film titled ‘Mindiyum Paranjum’ and the makers have launched the first song from the film. Titled ‘Neeye Nenjil’, the song is a beautiful melodious duet sung by Mridula Warrier, and Sooraj S Kurup. Composed by Sooraj S Kurup, the song penned by Sujesh Hari, features the characters played by Unni Mukundan and Aparna Balamurali blind in romance, against all odds! Even the downpour couldn’t stop them!

Unni Mukundan essays the role of Sanal, while Aparna Balamurali plays Leena in the film.

Helmed by Arun Bose, the film also has actors Jaffer Idukki, Jude Anthany Joseph, Maala Parvathi, Geethi Sangeetha, Sohan Seenulal, RJ Murugan, Prasanth Murali, Athira Suresh, RJ Vijitha, and Shiva Hariharan in some important roles in the film.

Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, Mridul George, the co-writer said, “It is about how the relationship develops between a young couple and how they grow in their marriage. It looks at them through different phases in their young lives. The film has an atmospheric quality with the monsoon, region and the people. It is set in Idukki and there is a bit of travel in the story.”
