Nazriya trolls Basil Joseph’s ‘Handshake miss’ moment, asks “Where is the main photo?”

Mollywood actor Basil Joseph made headlines recently for missing a handshake moment during the award ceremony of the recently concluded Super League Kerala Football Tournament.

In a widely circulated video, Basil is seen looking embarrassed as one player bypasses him to give a handshake to Prithviraj Sukumaran who was standing near the ‘Nunakkuzhi’ actor. In a playful sense, the video has gone viral on social media, and now the actress Nazriya has trolled Basil Joseph by sharing a playful comment on his recent post.

Basil Joseph recently shared a few pictures from the final match and penned a note about the viral clip. The note read, “Didn’t receive a handshake but got the cup. Honoured to have walked along with Calicut FC on this journey. Thank you for giving us top-class football.”


The post was soon flooded with comments from fans and followers and one particular comment from Nazriya got much traction.


Replying playfully to Basil’s caption, Nazriya commented, “Where is the main photo???? (along with laughing emojis). Basil Joseph replied to this comment by saying, “You too?...” Tovino Thomas also commented by saying, “Congratulations!!!.”


Others also commented on Basil’s post. One comment read, “Le Basil: Tovi and I got one. You are the next Sanju.” Another one commented, “Brother, you could have posted the photo of that handshaking.” A third one commented playfully by penning the song “Karale nin Kai Pidichaal,” an indirect reference to the missed handshake moment.


On the other hand, Nazriya and Basil Joseph are teaming up for the upcoming fun entertainer movie ‘Sookshmadarshini’.
