Director of Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Dileesh Pothan who is currently at the shoot of Amal Neerad's upcoming movie Trance, has no words to explain his happiness as his movie has won many acclaims at the National Awards.

He says that he is all that more happy that jury praised Malayalam cinema a lot."It is a matter of pride. We see a bright future for our cinema.

He actually mentioned Mollywood many a time and even took a lot of time to explain how our industry is flourishing. It also gives us a huge responsibility. Baout Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, I was happy when I heard that our film is considered for the awards. Ours is a cumulative effort and we hope to make many more films," Dileesh says.
The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam, best screenplay and best supporting actor.
The film that stars Fahadh Faasil, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nimisha Sajayan, Alencier Ley Lopez and Sibi Thomas, tells the tale of a chain snatcher. The cinematography was by Rajeev Ravi, while the songs and background score were composed by Bijibal.
