Narain to play a private detective in thriller drama 'Adrishyam'

has played quite a few interesting detective characters in the past and now, he is embracing one again.

’ film Adrishyam, which he calls an “action thriller drama,” Narain is cast as a private detective named Nanda. And Zac says Nanda’s part of the story has quite a bit of interesting twists and turns. “He takes up a case and while investigating the same, he discovers a personal connection it has, with his life. And this element drives him to analyse it well and solve the case, which has an abduction and absconding as part of it,” says Zac. Its script is by Pakyaraj Ramalingam and Pushparaj is the cinematographer.


The movie is a multi-starrer that also has Joju, Sharafudheen, Athmiya Rajan, Kayal Anandi and Pavithra Lakshmi in important roles. “Joju chettan’s character is a gangster named Sethu, who is an Ayyappa devotee; and Sharaf plays Rajkumar, who is a sub-inspector working with Nanda,” reveals the director. The shoot of the film, which is a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, was wrapped up a while ago and its teaser was also out, recently. Ranjin Raj is the composer of the film.
