Nandhu to play the lead in Ottamandaram

Actor Nandhu, who is mostly known for supporting roles in films like Spirit, will be playing the lead in his next film, Ottamandaram, directed by renowned documentary film maker Vinod Mankara.
Apparently, the story of the film is based on the real life story of a teenage girl who is forced to become a mother. Ottamandaram, which will have Bhamaa as the lead actress.
Nandhu started off his career playing the hero's friend in most of his films, but over the years bagged a number of solid characters. In his career spanning 20 years, this will be the first time he is getting to play the lead, Nandhu said.
