Nakshatra's comfortable doing intimate scenes?
Mother-daughter duos sharing screen space is a rarity in Mollywood. Though, for Tollywood actress Nakshatra and her mother and yesteryear actress Sumithra, it is nothing new. After working together in Shashindra K Shankar's Vaiduryam, the mother-daughter duo will share screen space yet again in Shaan's 'Village Guys'.
Nakshatra's previous Mollywood outings ' V M Anil's Kili Padum Gramam and Vaiduryam ' had failed to make an impact at the box office.

Village Guys is the actress' third project in Mollywood. 'The story is centred on Nakshatra's character. She plays a rich girl who goes missing on the day of her wedding,' says Sumithra.
Her mom says that Nakshatra is only too happy to take acting tips from her. 'I am like an assistant to her. I help her with the dialogues and even give suggestions on how to emote et al,' says Sumithra, and adds that acting together is a bonus for them.
So, is Nakshatra comfortable shooting for romantic and intimate scenes when her mother is around? 'Surprisingly, yes! When I was her age, I was uncomfortable doing such scenes when my father was around. The director used to ask him to step aside to complete the shot. However, Nakshatra has no such problem. I think it's because today's generation is much bolder compared to our generation,' says Sumithra, who is currently busy shooting for Tamil and Telugu movies back-to-back.
After Bangkok Summer, Village Guys will be Sumithra's next Mollywood outing.
