Murali Gopi recalls valour of Tippu !

Murali Gopi is one actor who never misses an opportunity to express his thoughts. And today, he has reminisced Tippu Sultan,who is famed as the Tiger of Mysore , the legendary ruler of India .
The actor who posted a portrait of ruler on his social networking page said “ One of the rare portraits of Tipu Sultan, which adorns the Durbar wall of his summer palace at Sirangapattam.On this fateful day 215 years ago, Tipu was killed while trying to gallantly defend his fort from the invading British legions, led by Wellesley. Of the many monarchs who fought against the British, this man remains my best. Why? Because he really did what he meant. His armies, his diplomacy, his enterprise and his intelligence really did send shivers down the mighty British spine. And he remained unflinchingly brave till the very end.”
