Vijay Sethupathi, on Sunday, released the motion poster of an upcoming multi-lingual movie, 'Muddy' through his social media handle. Interestingly, the film is touted to be India's first off-road mud race movie.
Debutant director Dr. Pragabhal is helming the project and is claimed to be delivering an innovative and never-seen-before experience to the audience. The debutant director has done extensive research on the sport for about five years and has scripted a gripping storyline on the rivalry between different teams.
The movie has elements of revenge, family drama, humor, and adventure. Meanwhile, Mud racing is a form of off-road motorsport.

Yuvan, Ridhaan Krishna, Anusha Suresh, and Amit Sivadas Nair will be playing the lead characters in the film, while actors Harish Peradi, IM Vijayan, and
Renji Panicker have roped in to play some pivotal roles in ‘Muddy’. The cast has reportedly undergone training for about two years in off-road racing.
On the technical front, KG Ratheesh is the cinematographer. San Lokesh of ‘Ratsasan’ is the editor of ‘Muddy’. Ravi Basrur of ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ is composing music for the film. Ranga is the colorist.
