Actress Mrudula Murali is celebrating the 15-year milestone of her debut filmRed Chillies’. The film starring Mohanlal hit the theatres in 2009, and Mrudula has penned a note, on how a friend reminded her about the milestone.
The actress took to social media to share her reflections on her remarkable journey in showbiz.
“A friend reminded me today that it’s been 15 years since my first release.

My reflex reaction was to laugh it off, saying, ‘Yeah right, and it’s been 2 years since my last release’... But then it hit me: not a good response! In an industry with so many enduring artists and countless talents emerging every day, having portrayed roles in a few films over the years is definitely an accomplishment. As someone who has always aspired to be an actor and still chase the dream of acting, I should have simply said, ‘Thank you, I’m thrilled you remember that,’” she said.
Mrudula further added, “So here’s to all those memorable roles done, and definitely to many more waiting to unfold!”
