The spy action thriller 'Mr. X', directed by Manu Anand, is all set to release in Kerala on April 17. The film stars Tamil superstar Arya in the lead role, supported by a strong cast including Sarathkumar, Gautham Karthik, Manju Warrier, Athulya Ravi, Anagha, and Raiza Wilson.
Manju Warrier took to Instagram to share the glimpse of 'Mr. X' and penned a note that read, "The spies are set for the big screens #MrX in theatres on the 17th of April, a grand release in theatres worldwide."
The glimpse was filled with comments. Actor Guru Somasundaram commented, "Congratulations." One fan commented, "Thalaiviii." Another comment read, "Fight is also not new to us, isn't it."
'Mr. X' story based on real threats
'Mr. X' revolves around mysterious incidents from the world of intelligence agencies. The plot focuses on five major threats to the nation that undercover operations successfully prevented.
Extensive shooting schedule of the Manju Warrier starrer
The film was shot over nearly 100 days across multiple locations in India, including Rajasthan, Hosur, Chennai, Mysuru, and Thoothukudi.
While Uganda was initially considered for some international sequences, those portions were eventually filmed in Azerbaijan.

Cinematography is handled by Arun Vincent, music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, and editing by Prasanna G.K.
Action sequences are choreographed by Stunt Silva, with art direction by Indulal Kaveed.
