Movies to watch this week: ‘Trance’ and ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’

We have ‘Trance’, which could be referred to as the ‘most awaited Mollywood movie of the decade’ and a social satire ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’ hitting the screens! Starring Fahadh Faasil, ‘Trance’ will hit the screens tomorrow that is, February 20. ‘Trance’ is the most awaited film of 2020 as it is directed by the talented filmmaker Anwar Rasheed. And also, Rasheed hasn’t given a feature film after his 2012 movie ‘Ustad Hotel’. Fahadh Faasil essays the lead Viju Prasad, a motivational trainer in the movie and the trailer has already left the cinephiles in frenzy. The movie has a stellar cast of Nazriya Nazim, Soubin Shahir, Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Dileesh Pothan, Sreenath Bhasi, Jinu Joseph and Tamil director Gautham Vasudev Menon portraying some of the pivotal characters. The technical crew includes cinematographer Amal Neerad, Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, musician Jackson Vijayan and production designer Ajayan Challissery among others. Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte

The movie is helmed by ‘Vedivazhipadu’ director Shambhu Purushothaman. The upcoming film ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’ is a satire and addresses several issues that take place in the society. ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’ will hit the screens this Friday, February 21. Vinay Forrt, Tini Tom, Srinda, Santhy Balachandran, Arun Kurian, and Anumol, are essaying the lead characters while actors Alencier, Madhupal, Anil Nedumangadu, James Eliya, Sunil Sukhada, Ambika Mohan, and Jolly Chirayath will be seen as the supporting cast.
