Nivin Pauly’s Moothon, which is scripted and directed by Geetu Mohandas, will hit theatres on November 8. The movie is a Mini Studio release.
The film, which is Geetu’s next venture after Liar’s Dice, is a multi-lingual venture set in Lakshadweep and Mumbai. Moothon is a pan-Indian film that has dialogues in Jeseri and Hindi.

As the central character of Akbar, the film has Nivin in a never-seen-before avatar. His performance also won acclaim in international film festivals.
Roshan Mathew, Dileesh Pothan, Sujith Shankar, Harish Khanna, Shashank Arora, Sobhita Dhulipala, Sanjana Deepu and Melissa Raju Thomas play pivotal characters.
The movie, which is produced under the banner of Mini Studio by Vinod Kumar and Anurag Kashyap, has Rajeev Ravi as its cinematographer. Moothon, which was showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival, won a lot of praise. Also, after being lauded at the MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai, the movie is now gearing up to be screened at Spain International Film Festival.
On November 8, as part of an all-India release, the movie will hit close to 150 theatres in Kerala.
