The director announced the release date of the teaser on her Facebook page. She wrote, "Everyone promises to stay, but only some do. Here’s to the ones who stayed, a film about what I love narrating the most; relationships. #Moothon #BhaiArrives 17.01.2019."

movie directed by Geetu Mohandas. Geetu Mohandas is an actress turned film-maker. Anurag Kashyap and Geethu Mohandas have scripted the screenplay of the movie. As the movie contains Hindi dialogues, Kashyap has helped in scripting the Hindi part. Actor Nivin Pauly will be seen doing the title role in the film and the actor will appear in a unique makeover in the film.
