Manjima Mohan, who has now emerged as a popular South Indian star, began her career with Malayalam cinema. She debuted in showbiz as a child actress with the 1997 film ‘Kaliyoonjal’. Manjima’s father Vipin Mohan, a popular cinematographer, was cranking the lens for ‘Kaliyoonjal’ and when the makers of ‘Kaliyoonjal’ were in search of a kid, they saw the adorable Manjima and decided to cast her. Manjima played the younger version of Ammu (Shalini) in the Mammootty-starrer. Her innocent smile, adorable looks, and impressive acting chops have surprised the audience, making her popular amongst the movie buff. Later Manjima Mohan worked in movies like 'Mayilpeeikaavu', 'Priyam', 'Thenkashipattanam', and 'Madhuranombarakattu' and became a household name. Her first film in Malayalam as a lead actress was the 2015 release ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’. She essayed the leading lady opposite Nivin Pauly.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Manjima Mohan will be next seen in ‘Zam Zam’. The movie is a Malayalam remake of the Bollywood movie 'Queen'.
