Malayali movie buffs are thrilled with actor Mohanlal’s announcement to wear the director’s cap and make a period film named Barroz. It happened soon after his film Lucifer, the debut directorial of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran hit the ‘million club’. Many talented and successful actors from the Malayalam film industry have decided to take their chance on the other side of the camera and some have even won greater acclaim as directors, not unlike Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson, Angelina Jolie, Naseeruddin Shah and Amir Khan.
