‘Mayanadhi’ producer refutes reports that the movie was funded by illegal means

Aashiq Abu’s directorial ‘Mayanadhi’ was making some buzz on social media, unfortunately for some wrong reasons. There were reports doing the rounds on social media that the movie was funded through illegal means and it had connections with the ongoing gold smuggling case from Kerala. The producer of the movie Santhosh T Kuruvilla took to his social media handle and rubbished the rumours and added that the movie was completely backed with the money from his account and the central and state taxes were also paid.

‘Drishyam’ actor Roshan Basheer to enter wedlock

Roshan Basheer who played the villain in ‘Drishyam’ is entering wedlock. Talking to us in an exclusive interview, the actor stated that he will be tying the knot with Farzana on August 5. Roshan’s fiancee Farzana has just completed LLB. The young actor also added that the proposal was purely arranged by both families. Also, Roshan’s fiancee is Megastar Mammootty’s relative!

‘Kaduva’ to roll soon

Recently, there were reports that Shaji Kailas’ ambitious project ‘Kaduva’ will be rolling anytime soon. But lately, the filmmaker spoke to us and confirmed that the shoot depends upon the government’s guidelines. The team needs more than 50 members in the cast and crew and will start shoot only when that is possible. ‘Kaduva’ will see Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The movie is scripted by Jinu V Abraham.

‘Maradu 357’ Teaser

The first teaser from Kannan Thamarakulam’s directorial ‘Maradu 357’ was launched this week. Mollywood actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran launched the teaser through his social media handle. In the teaser, Anoop Menon, who is essaying a pivotal role has delivered an emotional dialogue. The teaser gives a glimpse of the emotional turmoil of a flat owner. Directed by Kannan Thamarakulam, ‘Maradu 357’ is based on the real incident of flat demolition in Maradu, Kochi that took place a few months ago.
