Mohanlal starrer blockbuster ‘Udayanau Tharam’, which was originally released in 2005, is gearing up for re-release. The film, helmed by Rosshan Andrrews, is scripted by the late Sreenivasan. Sreenivasan, Meena, Mukesh, and Jagathy Sreekumar play pivotal roles in the film. On Tuesday, January 27, Mohanlal announced the release date via social media. ‘Udayananu Tharam’ will hit the theatres again on February 6! “This film, which narrates the story of the film industry, is one of the best screenplays of Sreenivasan. With the help of new technological advancements, Uthayananu Tharam will reach the theatres in 4K Dolby Atmos format. Inviting all dearest audiences and families to the theatres,” Mohanlal said, in a video. Rosshan Andrrews shared the video on Instagram and expressed that the film is a tribute to all the invisible battles of aspiring filmmakers. “Udayananutharam — Releasing Worldwide on February 6th!!!A tribute to the invisible battles of every aspiring filmmaker who fights doubt, rejection, and fear… yet still chooses cinema, every single day. 'Udayananu Tharam' is the debut directorial of Rosshan Andrrews. The film revolves around an assistant filmmaker who gives his best to make his first independent film, but his friend steals his script and goes on to become a superstar. Mohanlal and Sreenivasan play the lead roles, with Meena, Jagathy Sreekumar, Mukesh, and Salim Kumar in some pivotal roles.
