Mohanlal’s 'Neru' strikes emotional chords with the release of the track 'Roohe’

The creators of 'Neru,' the much-anticipated courtroom drama starring Mohanlal and directed by Jeethu Joseph, have unveiled the soul-stirring track 'Roohe,' intensifying the film's emotional depth.

The slow-paced and evocative composition, 'Roohe,' by Vishnu Shyam, showcases the emotional ambiance of the narrative, hinting at the predominant courtroom setting of the movie. The lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar are beautifully rendered by singer Karthik, accompanied by a stirring chorus featuring Vishnu Shyam and Cathy Jeethu.


The song's release has further cemented the film's genre as an emotional drama, reflecting the emotional yet compelling tone that 'Neru' promises to deliver. With its thematic essence captured in 'Roohe,' the anticipation for the film's storyline, largely set within the legal precincts, intensifies.

During the promotional event for the film, Jeethu Joseph said that the audiences would be disappointed if they were looking for a nail bitting thrilling experience with ‘Neru’, just like his previous films. On the other hand, the ‘Drishyam’ director affirmed that ‘Neru’ offers an in-depth emotional drama and will surely fill the hearts of the audiences.

Meanwhile, during the promotional event, Mohanlal also said that the main villain of ‘Neru’ will be already revealed in the first 10 minutes into the movie and the story then moves forward with an emphasis on it’s emotional drama.

Scheduled for release on December 21, 2023, 'Neru: Seeking Justice' orbits around Vijayamohan, portrayed by Mohanlal, who immerses himself in defending a troubled individual in a trial, unsure of the outcome. The narrative pivots on Sara, a visually impaired sculptor played by Priyamani, seeking redemption and justice following a traumatic experience.
