In addition to scouting locations in the UK, the movie's producers are gearing up for extensive shooting in Ernakulam, Kerala, where the set works are already in progress. Reports indicate that the Ernakulam shoot is slated to extend for a period of six months.

Previously, another exciting image surfaced, featuring the 'Empuraan' team, led by director Prithviraj Sukumaran, conducting a location hunt in Dubai.

According to the sources, the film's schedule is set to kick off in January 2024, commencing with shoots in the USA, followed by the UK and Abu Dhabi. During the interim, Prithviraj Sukumaran will be completing a Hindi film and his eagerly awaited Malayalam project, 'Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil,' by December 2023.

Following the completion of his part in 'L2: Empuraan,' Mohanlal will step into another highly anticipated project, 'Rambaan,' directed by Joshiy, slated to commence by mid-2024. Furthermore, popular actor Tovino Thomas is expected to join the 'Empuraan' team for the US schedule, which is scheduled to begin in January 2024.

With daily updates on 'L2: Empuraan,' expectations continue to soar. Prithviraj Sukumaran's third directorial venture is the much-awaited sequel to the superhit action drama 'Lucifer,' with the script for 'Empuraan' being crafted by the talented writer Murali Gopy.
