Mohanlal’s Ittimani will be based in Kunnamkulam

While Lucifer will have Mohanlal in an intense role as a politician from the looks of it, the superstar’s next movie Ittimani Made in China, which is directed by debutants Jibi and Joju, will have the actor back in a familiar territory.
“It’s a total fun movie that would remind the audience of Lalettan’s yesteryear superhits such as Vellanakalude Naadu, Chithram and Kilukkam,” says Joju, who has also co-scripted the movie with Jibi.
Ask the significance of the title Ittimani Made in China and the filmmaker says, “We will be shooting in China; we have planned a short schedule of less than a week there. China has a significance to the story which is set in Kunnamkulam, where you get all types of duplicate goods.”
The team though is tight-lipped about Mohanlal’s character. They will, however, be finalising the rest of the cast and crew once Lucifer’s shooting is done. The movie is set to go on floors by the first quarter of next year.
