Mohanlal’s ‘Barroz’ trailer to be unveiled along with ‘Avatar 2’ release on December

‘Barroz’ is mounted on a large scale and is scripted by the ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ fame Jijo Punnoose. Recently the writer said through his blog that the script was re-written by Mohanlal and the director TK Rajeev Kumar several times and now the screenplay is fashioned just like the actor’s movies such as ‘Lucifer’, ‘Pulimurugan’, with the sole purpose of satisfying the fans. The writer also mentioned in his blog that his involvement in Mohanlal’s maiden project is less. Although this revelation by the writer-director Jijo Punnoose has disappointed the fans, the hopes are high for ‘Barroz’.

Mollywood superstar Mohanlal will be donning the director’s cap for the fantasy adventure movie ‘Barroz’ and a recent update regarding the movie has indeed excited the fans.

Mohanlal, speaking to online media, said that the makers are planning to release the trailer for ‘Barroz’ along with James Cameroon’s most ambitious project ‘Avatar 2’ release which is scheduled for December 16 this year.

‘Barroz’ is touted to be a children’s fantasy film and was shot extensively at Navodaya Studios in Kochi, Goa, Bangkok, Chennai, and other major locations. Santhosh Sivan handled the cinematography of this Mohanlal starrer and the editing section by A Sreekar Prasad. Lydian Nadhaswaram is roped in as the music composer and the film is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor.
Mohanlal plays the titular character ‘Barroz’ and the rest of the cast in the movie includes Guru Somasundaram, Sara Vega, Tuhin Menon, Geethi Sangeetha, Maya, Komal Sharma, Padmavati Rao and several others.
