After a long wait, Mohanlal’s directorial debut ‘Barroz’ is all set to grace the big screens on December 21 this year. Reportedly the movie will be released in over 60 countries and the expectations are high for this fantasy drama movie.

Along with the real characters in the movie, there will also be the inclusion of a fully animated character. Talking to a media outlet, Mohanlal said that he is also excited to witness the ‘Barroz’ magic on the big screens. The legendary actor also said that he feels grateful to play the central character in the movie which has been developed by Jijo Punnoose after several researches and studies.

According to the sources, the story of ‘Barroz’ revolves around a 400-year-old spirit who is assigned to guard D’Gama’s treasure which can be handed over to D’ Gama’s true descendant. The movie is touted to be a fantasy thriller and the core story is provided by the ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ fame Jijo Punnoose.

Mark Kilian and Lydian Nadhaswaram will be in charge of the music department of ‘Barroz’ which has Santosh Sivan to crank the lens. A Sreekar Prasad will be handling the editing section of the movie and the costume design is by Jyoti Madnani Singh.
