Mohanlal wishes filmmaker Priyadarshan on his birthday

Film-maker Priyadarshan is celebrating his 61st birthday today. To mark the special day, actor Mohanlal shared a throwback photo of himself with the birthday boy from the sets of 'Thenmavin Kombath' and sent out a greeting that read, '' Happy Birthday Priyan."

,' 'Kaalapani,' 'Thenmavin Kombath,' 'Oppam,' etc. The duo is currently working for their next project 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.'

The film has Mohanlal in the titular role of Kunjali Marakkar. Scripted by director Priyadarshan along with Ani I. V. Sasi, the film is being bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Mohanlal's son Pranav Mohanlal will be seen making a cameo in the movie that will also feature Priyadarshan's daughter Kalyani. If reports are to be believed, Kalyani would be making her debut in the Malayalam film industry with this movie.

The film, based on the legend Kunjali Marakkar IV has cast Sunil Shetty, Keerthi Suresh, Arjun Sarja, Mukesh and Hareesh Peradi in it.
