Mohanlal is all set to don the director’s cap for the fantasy film ‘Barroz’. Recently the actor shared a magnificent motion poster for the film which promises a visual 3D spectacle.
Sharing the motion poster via his Twitter handle, Mohanlal Tweeted, “A magical journey into real 3D! #Barroz arrives in theatres worldwide on December 25. #Barroz3D #Dec25.”
The Tweet was soon flooded with comments from fans and movie buffs. One comment read, “Directed By "Mohanlal" Eagerly Waiting To See This On Big Screen.” Another comment read, “All the very best wishes Laletta & team for #Barroz3D #Dec25 Looking forward to see it in Big screen.” A third one commented, “Seems to be one of the Best 3D movie from India, Mollywood not only growing in strong content but also in strong technicals.”
The motion poster explores the insides of the cave where Barroz, the ghost, played by Mohanlal, is residing and is protecting DGama’s treasures. The script is based on the story penned by the ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ fame Jijo Punnoose.
Overall the hype is real for the Mohanlal’s directorial debut film. The recently released teaser for the movie promises a visual 3D spectacle that is a must-watch on the big screens. The movie will be more suited to the child audiences and the mature ones are expected to be enthralled by the magnificent visuals captured by the veteran Santhosh Sivan.
‘Barroz’s screenplay is penned by Mohanlal along with TK Rajeev Kumar and the dialogues are by Kalavoor Ravikumar and Krishnadas Panki. The editing section is handled by B Ajithkumar and the songs are composed by the young and talented Lydian Nadhaswaram. The background score is composed by Mark Kilian.
Apart from Mohanlal, ‘Barroz’ also features the actors Guru Somasundaram, Komal Sharma, Pedro Figueiredo and many others in pivotal roles.
