Mohanlal to launch Prayaga Martin's short film The Soldier in the Trench on August 28

Prayaga Martin has remarkable excitement when she talks about her short film which she and her friends created post lockdown. Titled

The Soldier in the Trench

, the film will be launched online by Mohanlal on August 28 through his social media page. The team has created an interesting message video to thank the actor which is now trending online.
"I have been very much excited about this film as I have been involved in its production as well. Though the movie I got to know the intricacies of filmmaking," she says.




The film's posters and trailer had also received good responses from the netizens. Movie's director

had earlier told us that the 25-minute-long movie discusses about issues like anxiety and depression that is very relevant today, especially during the Corona days. “It is a movie that kindles hope,” says the childhood friend of the actress who wrote the script keeping her in mind.

While posting the trailer and the posters of The Soldier in the Trench, even the actress expressed the same. Her post reads, “We humans claim to be set apart from all other creatures on the planet because of our capacity to have complex thoughts. That is how we had looked at our intelligence- as our weapon and defence. But that very intelligence seems to have turned against humanity today. We see it far too much in the forms of anxiety, depression and stress. Call it what you'd like to but fundamentally, our intelligence has turned against us.”
