Mohanlal to do a larger than life role in Lucifer

Mohanlal’s punch dialogues and larger than life characters in Narasimham or Ustad have always remained a favourite among his fans.
However, following the current trend of realistic movies, the actor too had taken a detour doing films which are close to reality. Now, there is good news for ardent Mohanlal fans who wish to see the star once again in his charismatic avatar.Buzz is that Traffic director Rajesh Pillai’s next film, Lucifer, will see the star playing a larger than life role after a hiatus.
Interestingly, this will be the first time that the director and actor are teaming up. Confirming the news, Rajesh says, “This is a movie that will celebrate ‘Mohanlalism’. Of late, we have been seeing him in a different avatar. Though the change is well accepted, there are still many who want to watch their favourite star in a mass entertainer. Lucifer will be a treat for them.”
After Ee Adutha Kalathu and Left Right Left, Murali Gopi will script Lucifer. While Mohanlal plays the title character, Murali will also be seen in a prominent role here. Meanwhile, Mohanlal is busy with his Kollywood project, Jilla, and Rajesh is gearing up for his long awaited, Motorcycle Diaries. Lucifer will start rolling only next year.
