Mohanlal starts dubbing for Shaji Kailas’ movie ‘Alone’

There is never a day off for the legendary Mollywood actor Mohanlal and with all the highly ambitious movies lined up for the year 2022, the actor’s hard work seems to pay off well. In the midst of the shoot of his maiden directorial venture ‘Barroz’, Mohanlal has started dubbing for his upcoming Shaji Kailas’ directorial film ‘Alone’.

The ace filmmaker Shaji Kailas took to his official Instagram handle to share a picture with Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor with a caption saying that the superstar has joined the dubbing session of ‘Alone’. The Instagram note penned by the ‘Alone’ director read, “The tongue can paint what the eyes can’t see. Lalji has joined for ‘Alone’ dubbing. His easiness is always a textbook for all.”

As per the reports, Shaji Kailas, who is known for making high-voltage action-thriller movies, will be opting for a different kind of movie with ‘Alone’ as it is said to be a single-character/single-setting thriller. The film will also mark Mohanlal’s team up with Shaji Kailas after a gap of over 12 years. The sources also suggest that Shaji Kailas’ son Jagan is roped in as the assistant director for ‘Alone’.

‘Alone’ is scripted by Rajesh Jayaraman who is best known for the films ‘Bhagyadevatha’, ‘Sound of Boot’, ‘Time’, ‘Moonamathora;’, and ‘Achuvinte Amma’. The film also has Abhinandan Ramanujam who is roped in as the cinematographer and Jakes Bejoy will be composing the music for ‘Alone’.

On the other hand, Shaji Kailas also has the mass action thriller ‘Kaduva’ in the pipeline. The film will see the ace actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead role as the character Kaduvakunnel Kuruvachan’ The film also features the actors Vivek Oberoi, Samyuktha Menon, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, and Aju Varghese in pivotal roles.
