Mohanlal starrer ‘Monster’ locks its OTT release date

The expectations were at their peak when the ‘Pulimurugan’ director Vysakh and Mohanlal were teaming up for the film ‘Monster’. Unfortunately, with a shoddy script and screenplay, Mohanlal’s ‘Monster’ failed to impress the audiences and the film is gearing up for its OTT release which is scheduled for November 25.

‘Monster’ will be available on a popular OTT platform from November 25 onwards and it’s expected that the film will find its right audience after the OTT premiere. ‘Monster’ hit the big screens on October 21 and the reactions to the Mohanlal starrer were mixed. Some netizens said that the film would have worked well on OTT. The performance of Honey Rose was said to be the only positive factor in the movie.

Helmed by the director Vysakh, the script of Mohanlal’s ‘Monster’ was penned down by the writer Uday Krishna who had his previous outing with the underwhelming film ‘Aaraattu’. Satheesh Kurup cranked the lens for the movie and the editing section was handled by Shameer Muhammed. Deepak Dev’s music also didn’t impress the audience.

Apart from Mohanlal, ‘Monster’ also featured the actors Honey Rose, Johny Antony, Lakshmi Manchu, Sudev Nair, Idavela Babu, Biju Pappan, Lenaa, Siddique, and Swasika in significant roles.
