With most of the upcoming projects of the legendary actor Mohanlal reportedly skipping the theatrical release, the latest buzz has indeed made the fans happy as his upcoming film ‘Monster’ is said to be having a theatrical release reportedly scheduled for September 30 this year.

Although the makers have not yet confirmed the release date of the Mohanlal starrer, according to the reports, ‘Monster’ will be hitting the big screens on the Pooja holidays. The sources also suggest that the date of the release is set for September 30. Earlier there was also buzz that ‘Monster’ is planning for a direct-to-OTT release, but it was not confirmed by the makers.

The expectations are genuinely high for the Mohanlal starrer ‘Monster’ as the hitmaker director Vysakh is teaming up with the legendary actor for the second time after the action entertainer ‘Pulimurugan’ which was a humongous success at the box office.
Previously in an interview with an online media channel, the director Vysakh said that ‘Monster’ will be a complete entertainer and he also reportedly said that he was impressed with the script penned down by the renowned writer Udaykrishnan.
Satheesh Kurup who is best known for the films ‘Dhrishyam’ and ‘12th Man’ is roped in as the cinematographer for ‘Monster’ and the editing section is handled by Shameer Muhammed.
Apart from Mohanlal, ‘Monster’ also features the actors Honey Rose, Lakshmi Manchu, Sudev Nair, and Jose Joel in significant roles.
On the other hand, Mohanlal has several highly ambitious projects in the pipeline including ‘L2: Empuraan’, and an untitled project directed by the ‘Athiran’ fame Vivek.
