Mohanlal starrer ‘Alone’ gets an OTT release date

Veteran filmmaker Shaji Kailas joined hands with the superstar Mohanlal for the recently released thriller film ‘Alone’ and according to the latest updates, the movie will start digital streaming on March 3rd this year.

Mohanlal’s ‘Alone’ will be released on a popular OTT platform from March 3 onwards and it can be expected that the movie will be generating many positive reviews after the OTT release as it was said by many movie buffs that the movie would have worked well in OTT rather than in theatres.

Helmed by the veteran director Shaji Kailas, ‘Alone’ was mounted on a low budget with limited locations and only one character Kalidas who is played by the actor Mohanlal. The movie hit the big screens on January 26 this year and received many mixed responses from the audiences for its issues with pacing and Mohanlal’s performance. The script of the film which was penned by the writer Rajesh Jayaraman was also said to be having issues and overall the movie didn't work well at the box office.

Several other actors were featured in the movie such as Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Siddique, Annie Shaji Kailas, and Nandhu.
