Mohanlal, Shaji Karun to reunite for their next

After winning international acclaim for showcasing the identity crisis of a Kathakali dancer in Vanaprastham, National Award winners Mohanlal and Shaji N Karun are reuniting to capture the essence of Indian classical music in an Indo-Polish-French production 'Gaadha'.
The film is an adaptation of T Padmanabhan���s short story Kadal, based on Indian classical music in symphony orchestra.Shaji has roped in Polish musician extraordinaire Zbigniew Priesner for composing the score.
���Music is the core of this movie and my job is to just back with the visual splendour. I���ve always been a fan of Priesner, and his work would take the movie to the next level in terms of its music," says the Kutty Srank director. Shaji also informs that he is waiting to get the nod of a renowned French cinematographer to start filming the movie in November in Varanasi with Ajmer and Lakshadweep being the other locations.
In addition to Mohanlal, the film will star a host of new faces with Odissi danseuse Kadambari as the female lead.
