Actor Mohanraj, best known by his stage name ‘Keerikkadan Jose’ from the film ‘Kireedam’ passed away on Thursday, October 3. Condolences have been pouring in from all sides on social media for the late star.

Mohanlal too paid a heartfelt tribute to his ‘Kireedam’ co-star Mohanraj. In a heartfelt note shared on Facebook, the superstar reminisced about their time filming the iconic movie.
Mohanlal played the role of Sethumadhavan aka Sethu in the 1989 film ‘Kireedam’ directed by
Sibi Malayil.
Mohanraj played the antagonist named Keerikkadan Jose. Ever since the release of ‘Kireedam’, Mohanraj started to be recognized as Keerikkadan Jose, which later became his stage name.

I vividly remember his imposing presence in front of the camera, standing tall as Sethu’s formidable adversary, as if it were just yesterday. With tearful eyes, I bid farewell to my dear friend who always upheld kindness and gentleness in life."
