Mohanlal is Kirata in ‘Kannappa’: The Master of Pashupatastra!

Mohanlal is all set for the most-awaited action drama movie ‘Kannappa’, and the makers have recently shared the character look poster for the ‘Barroz’ actor.

Actor Vishnu Manchu shared the character look poster for Mohanlal and penned a tweet that read, “‘KIRATA’! The legend Sri. Mohanlal in #Kannappa. I had the honor of sharing the screen space with one of the greatest Actor of our time. This entire sequence will be ! @Mohanlal.”

Mohanlal’s character is described as the ‘Master of Pashupatastra! The victor over the victorious, The legendary Kirata of the Forest’. Mohanlal is seen in a tribal attire, which is similar to Suriya’s look from the recently released Tamil film ‘Kanguva’.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and starring Vishnu Manchu as Kannappa, the film is all set to hit the big screens on April 25, 2025 and the expectations are quite high. ‘Kannappa’ is described as ‘The bravest warrior. The ultimate devotee’ and the movie is touted to be a pan-Indian flick, based on a true story.
The Telugu-Hindi language mythological action film is reportedly mounted on a 100-200 crores budget and the story is penned by Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Eshwar Reddy, G Nageswara Reddy, and Thota Prasad.
Sheldon Chau is roped in as the cinematographer and the editing section is handled by Anthony.
On the other hand, Mohanlal has the most awaited ‘Barroz’ which is hitting the big screens on December 25. Recently Mohanlal shared the Kannada trailer for the film and penned a Tweet that read, “The #Barroz3D Kannada trailer is out now! Excited to bring this magical adventure to Kannada audiences, presented by #PVRPictures. Experience it in cinemas from December 25.”
