The official fans’ association of actor
Mohanlal named ‘All Kerala Mohanlal Fans and Cultural Welfare Association’ (
AKMFCWA
) has split and a new association is formed in the name of the actor.
However, the actor has decided to stay detached from the new association named ‘Universal Real Mohanlal Fans and Welfare Organisation’ which was formed by few members of original association, in Thiruvananthapuram on June 1. The members of the new fans association accused the old association of financial irregularities and said some members of the original association are using the association for their selfish needs.
Mohanalal
has cleared that he doesn't have any relation to the new organisation or with any other association or
NGO
's which uses his name other than AKMFCWA. The actor cleared his stance by writing a note on the letter pad of AKMFCWA which was published on the association's Facebook page.
