Mohanlal as a smuggler?

For a common man, Mohanlal is a doting son, caring brother, loving husband. At the same instant the actor has also donned many larger-than-life characters in innumerable films over the years. Now we hear that in his upcoming movie G for Gold helmed by Ranjith, Lal will be seen in the role of a smuggler.
It was earlier reported that Manju Warrier and Prithviraj will be seen alongside Mohanlal.But later the director confirms that both the actors will not be the part of it, as the storyline cannot accommodate the two stars.
As per latest reports, the film will start rolling in the first or second week of January.
