Director Tharun Moorthy shared this update, revealing that the characters—Shanmukhan and Lalitha Shanmukhan—now have their own social media presence. Lalitha’s Instagram bio reads Owner @ Pavithram Mills, while Shanmukhan’s profile states Driver @ Taxi Stand. Both accounts feature promotional images, adding an interactive element to the film’s campaign. Both the accounts are stacked with the promotional materials of Tharun Moorthy’s third directorial.

Adding to the excitement, the lyrical video of Kanmanipoove from the film has already received significant attention. ‘Thudarum’ is written by K.R. Sunil and co-scripted by Tharun Moorthy and Sunil. Touted to be a family drama movie, the expectations are quite high for ‘Thudarum’. Fans are waiting for the makers to share a teaser or trailer update of the movie.

A major milestone for Mohanlal, Thudarum marks his 360th film. The last time he and Shobana shared the screen was in Mambazhakkalam (2004) and the action flick ‘Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded’ which was directed by Amal Neerad.

On the other hand, Mohanlal recent outing, his directorial debut film ‘Barroz’ failed to impress the audiences. ETimes review for the fantasy film reads, “From dialogues to dubbing choices—especially the Malayalam accent for some characters—would make one wonder about how informed these choices were. Half of the cast could have easily been chosen from the ample talent in Malayalam cinema, and a bit more effort could have been invested in casting the Europeans. When the African origin occultist tries to be mysterious, it almost looks like a blooper that made it into the film. The hand movements, actions, etc., seemed so out of place and comical to an extent.”
